Do not forget to wear comfortable shoes and spare parts, flashlight, compass, why not phone for emergencies.
Do not leave garbage on their way down the track, drop it when you have a chance at an appropriate place for it.

Respect the flora and fauna found in abundance in the route, take care of stray cattle that can be found in your path, closing many open gates in its path, remember that this path sometimes crosses ancient farms and private farms if we respect their owners will appreciate.
Extremadura Weather is mild enough to recommend the tour of Via de la Plata at any time of year, but there are times of day during the summer when the heat can be a serious inconvenient and some winter dates which due to rainwater, some streams will have to be forded by alternative locations that will not interfere with our itinerary.
